

Camping them effectively will often mean the difference between killing or being killed. In these events, doors are your best friend. In addition to scientists, the great loot here should have you expecting to encounter other players here, so should be mindful of ways to fight them. They are spread out enough that you should be able to pick them off easily enough, even considering that, but it means that you shouldn’t play too cautiously, or else you will only be giving time to the scientists to heal. If you are raiding Arctic Research Base, be aware that it is the only monument in the game where the scientists will heal themselves over time, and so you should finish them quickly, before they have a chance to do so. It is also the only location that spawns snowmobiles and is the only scientific monument with a Recycler. It is protected by self-healing scientists with winter-camo suits and is a popular monument for players, making it an exciting place for challenging PvE and PvP encounters. The Lowgrade fuel spawns, especially, are extremely generous.
